Mainline Information Systems is seeking a skilled Salesforce Developer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and implementation of Salesforce solutions tailored to business needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Salesforce development, a passion for solving complex problems, and the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.

The Position:

  1. Design and develop solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce Flows/ Workflows.
  2. Configure and customize Salesforce permissions, sharing rules, and security settings.
  3. Support both Salesforce Lightning and Classic environments.
  4. Supporting, maintaining, and improving the working of existing Salesforce applications for optimal functionality.
  5. Develop user interfaces using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  6. Work with APIs, JSON, and XML for data exchange between systems.
  7. Utilize programming skills in C# and/or Java for external application integration.
  8. Strong ability to gather requirements, analyze data, and provide innovative solutions.
  9. Proven ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  10. Adept at identifying issues, diagnosing problems, and implementing efficient solutions.
  11. Gather requirements, analyze business needs, and translate them into technical solutions.
  12. Work closely with project managers, business analysts, and clients to ensure successful delivery.


Required skills and qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in software engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  2. 3+ years of demonstrable experience in Salesforce Development
  3. Proficient understanding of Salesforce administration, including Salesforce lightning and classic frameworks
  4. Knowledge of Apex, Visualforce, LWC, SOQL, Salesforce Flows/ Workflows and permissions and sharing
  5. Experience with front-end and back-end programming languages such as C# and/or Java, and JavaScript
  6. Experience with HTML, CSS, XML, JSON


Preferred skills and qualifications:

  1. "Salesforce Developer 2" and "Salesforce Advanced Administrator" certifications are a plus.
  2. Salesforce Mobile app configuration and optimization.
  3. Familiarity with Microsoft Admin tools (Exchange, SharePoint, Entra).
  4. Experience with MuleSoft.
  5. Knowledge of PowerShell, GIT, and Microsoft Dynamics NAV.


Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements:

This is a work-from-home position anywhere in the US.

  1. Physical environmental factors of this position include those found in typical business office environment or home office environment.
  2. Requires use of general office equipment and personal computer equipment.
  3. Ability to travel. Various means of travel may be required, including auto and air travel. This position requires travel: Rarely
  4. May be required to work irregular schedules including but not limited to as applicable: Nights, weekends, holidays, on-call, and/or overtime.
