Salesforce Developer

The Red Hat Information Technology (IT) team is looking for a Salesforce Developer to join us. In this role, you will have systems responsibility for customizing the Salesforce Sales Cloud. You should have the ability to understand the practical needs of the business and translate them into technical solutions focused on efficiency, scalability, and ease of use. As a Salesforce Developer, you’ll work as part of a scrum team to complete configuration and development work, as well as define the end-to-end process implementation strategies. This role has a high visibility within IT and our business stakeholder teams.

What you will do:

1. Work with the sales, operations, legal, finance, and product teams and elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, business process descriptions, cases, scenarios, data analysis, and task and workflow analysis
2. Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests and wants from the underlying, true business needs
3. Be responsible for the new configuration or development system changes in Salesforce.com (SFDC)
4. Understand the data model related to SFDC and Salesforce CPQ
5. Work as part of a scrum team as well as on your own with minimal supervision
6. Work with other Sales Cloud and service cloud team associates to build integrated solutions
7. Support and troubleshoot integration issues

What you will bring:

1. 5+ years of SFDC consulting or Salesforce implementation experience
2. Extensive knowledge of product and service configuration, complex pricing rules, defining product bundle structure, constraint rules, and options
3. Experience with how to resolve SKU proliferation and define attribute-based product configuration
4. Knowledge of advance approval workflow along with configuration of email-based approval
5. Proficiency in designing various types of promotions and discounts
6. Knowledge of how to develop and deploy solutions
7. Comfortable building and demonstrating prototypes in SFDC
8. Knowledge of document and contract generation functionality and eSignature
9. 2+ years of experience defining systems strategy, developing systems requirements, and designing and prototyping, testing, and implementing practical business solutions
10. Ability to understand and troubleshoot implemented code
11. Bachelor’s degree
12. Ability to understand an implemented architecture and deliver on technical specifications
13. Ability to accurately scope, plan, and estimate the level of effort for tasks, with an appropriate balance of risk and effort
14. Good understanding of object-oriented technologies to develop software applications

The following are considered a plus:

1. 2+ years of experience with Salesforce Lightning, Apex, and Visualforce
2. BMI Yellow and Blue Belt or Apttus Quote-To-Cash certified
3. Ability to work on your own and manage multiple-task assignments
4. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills
5. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
6. Advanced degree in the area of specialization
7. Experience implementing SFDC CRM capabilities

The salary range for this position is $90,480.00 - $144,660.00. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.

Pay Transparency

Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
