Job Title: Sr. Business Analyst/Salesforce Developer

Status: Full Time/Exempt 

Position Summary:

1. Gathering, validating and documenting business requirements for evaluation and promotion to production environments. 
2. Modelling business processes and identifying opportunities for process improvements?.
3. Identifying issues, risks and benefits of existing and proposed solutions and outlining business impacts.
4. Creating functional specifications for solutions.

Core Responsibilities:

The Sr. Business Analyst/Salesforce Developer responsibilities will include:

1. Customizing the platform: Working with stakeholders to define system requirements and customize the Salesforce platform 
2. Supporting users: Ensuring users of all technical levels can easily use Salesforce 
3. Maintaining security: Ensuring security standards are met 
4. Managing releases: Managing releases into production 
5. Designing and developing: Designing, developing, and maintaining custom applications and solutions on the Salesforce platform 
6. Automating business processes: Working with the Salesforce platform to automate business processes 
7. Creating custom user interfaces: Creating custom user interfaces 
8. Integrating with external systems: Integrating with external systems 
9. Designing, coding, testing, and implementing: Designing, coding, testing, implementing, and maintaining secure and scalable software applications 

Additional Reporting Responsibilities:

Understand business objectives, collect business requirements and translate them into data requirements, design and develop reports or dashboards, schedule and deploy business intelligence components in accordance with best practices, and complete accurate and timely documentation. 

1. Designing and developing reports: Create reports, dashboards, and visualizations that refine complex data sets into     meaningful, actionable insights for organizations.
2. Maintaining reports: Keep reports up to date and ensure they are accurate and relevant 
3. Gathering business requirements: Work with departments to understand their reporting needs and develop objectives and metrics 
4. Analyzing data: Filter out unnecessary information and identify trends 
5. Collaborating with stakeholders: Present findings and provide solutions to stakeholders 
6. Administering reporting tools: Manage the reporting tools and technologies used to support operational reporting

Required Qualifications: 

1. BA/BS in Computer Science or related field is preferable. Equivalent combination of experience, education and training will be considered
2. Salesforce certification is required
3. 3+ years’ experience developing and implementing enterprise-scale reports and dashboards
4. Expert in powerBI, SQL SSRS report or Tabelo 
5. High proficiency with SQL and Oracle database management
6. Understanding of Snowflake is preferable but not required
7. Excellent interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills are required to support working in project environments that include internal, external and customer-facing teams 
8. Requires strong analytical, conceptual and problem-solving abilities 
9. Programming / scripting experience and knowledge of software development life cycle is preferred. 
10. Ability to manage multiple priorities, and assess and adjust quickly to changing priorities
