Job Summary: We are looking for a talented Salesforce Developer to design world-class Salesforce applications for our evolving CRM requirements. As a Salesforce Developer, you will be responsible for developing customized solutions within the Salesforce platform. You will also analyze project objectives, create customer workflows, and troubleshoot errors. To ensure success as a Salesforce Developer, you should have extensive experience working with Salesforce CRM platforms, application development skills, and the ability to solve complex software problems.  

 

General Duties/Responsibilities: 

  1. Develop innovative new tools and services on the Salesforce platform tailored to the complexities of labor resource management, payroll, and human resources 
  2. Develop custom interfaces, advanced workflows, and other technical elements within Salesforce that improve the overall user experience 
  3. Providing training to other junior developers and manage their growth as engineers 
  4. Analyze business processes and translate them into efficient Salesforce implementations, leveraging Flows, Apex, LWC, and any other relevant APIs  
  5. Assist with integrations involving third-party APIs and implementation 
  6. Take ownership of issues through to resolution - including translating business requirements to technical story requirements, troubleshooting issues, driving internal communication with business stakeholders, and gathering feedback to improve technical solutions on a regular basis 
  7. Liaise and work closely with the internal teams on raised technical challenges, and help guide product roadmap changes/new features 
  8. Support a culture of collaboration, respect, engineering/operational excellence, and regular delivery of customer value 
  9. Analyze complex business and technical requirements, with particular focus on their impact to the application infrastructure and environment, to guide solution design and delivery 
  10. Enhance existing architecture and optimize performance for scale via best practices and industry standards 
  11. Manage and complete Salesforce development deliverables with the ability to balance and prioritize multiple in-flight stories and initiatives. 
  12. Establish best practices for code reviews, documentation, and the Salesforce development life cycle, contributing to the knowledge base and continuous learning of the development team 
  13. Perform all testing of Salesforce code, components, and integrations, including helping write detailed user testing instructions for business users 

 

 

Qualifications/Skill Requirements: 

  1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or information technology, with a Master’s degree in any related field being a plus 
  2. 6+ years of experience in the programmatic development of Salesforce applications using Apex  
  3. 6+ years of experience working on a development team in a highly customized Salesforce environment, as well as in-depth background working across various Salesforce clouds (Service, Experience, etc.) 
  4. Highly experienced with Lightning (Aura and Lightning Web Components), Visualforce, REST and SOAP APIs, and Web Services 
  5. Non-Salesforce ecosystem development experience a plus (i.e. you were a software engineer before entering the Salesforce ecosystem) 
  6. Architect-level experience preferred, but not required 
  7. Well-versed in best DevOps practices and tools, including continuous integration and deployment pipelines 
  8. Certificates in Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I & II, Salesforce Certified Application Architect, and Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder are strongly preferred
