Fitch Group is currently seeking a Salesforce developer to join our Business Applications team, based out of New York, Chicago or Toronto office. This role is within a high performing Salesforce development team, working closely with business applications leadership, business decision makers, and end users. This individual must have the ability to configure/ customize Salesforce to meet the business need.

Problem Solving: Troubleshoot, diagnose, and recommend solutions to complex business and technical problems, ensuring optimal functionality and efficiency.

CI/CD Release Management: Manage Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) release processes to ensure seamless and efficient software delivery.

Requirement Mapping: Map business requirements to Salesforce features and functionality, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Technology Trend Monitoring: Stay up to date with Salesforce Technology to ensure the reference architecture remains current and effective.

What You Need to Have:

Salesforce Experience: Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce.

Salesforce Lightning Expertise: Proficient in Salesforce Lightning and Lightning Web Component development.

Version Control and CI/CD: Experienced with version control systems and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) release management.

Agile/Scrum Methodology: Experienced in working within an agile/scrum development process.

APEX Proficiency: Skilled in APEX triggers, classes, batch processes, and test methods.

API Knowledge: Proficient in REST API, SOAP API, and platform events.

Communication and Team Skills: Excellent communication skills, a strong team player, and a self-starter.

What Would Make You Stand Out:

Certification

1. Salesforce Admin certification
2. Platform Developer I certification preferred.

FOR NEW YORK ROLES ONLY: Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $80,000 and $110,000. Actual salaries will be determined on an individualized basis and may vary based on factors including but not limited to education, training, experience, past performance, and other job-related factors. Base pay is one part of Fitch’s total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, long-term incentives, and other benefits sponsored by Fitch.
