Job Description

The Salesforce Business Analyst will be an integral member of the Studio Distribution Tech Ops team supporting Global TV Distribution and will be responsible for a suite of Salesforce applications supporting finance, sales, legal and strategy business units.

The primary role of the Salesforce Business Analyst is to act as a liaison between business partners and IT Teams, supporting the solution delivery lifecycle for the Global TV Distribution application portfolio under the direction of the Manager, Business Solutions.

1. Be a proactive product owner and work alongside developers, support consultants, IT infrastructure, vendors, and different business verticals to support the Global TV Distribution business.
2. Execute Production Support activities including Salesforce system administration, configuration, and outlining Salesforce technical architecture for enhancements and bug fixes.
3. Understand Global TV Distribution business goals and objectives and communicate them effectively to various internal stakeholders.
4. Execute on product management, business analysis, process mapping, functional architecture, testing, and system integrations.
5. Provide trouble-shooting capabilities to assess, identify, and engage in resolution on reported application issues for daily production support.
6. Provide training, business support and guidance.
7. Collaborate with technical teams to provide input on end-to-end technical solutions.
8. Create and execute test cases when required.
9. Be a change agent and a knowledge keeper to support the successful business adoption of new IT solutions.
10. All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Minimum of 2+ years of solid hands-on experience with Salesforce.com
2. Minimum of 2+ years of client facing and business systems analysis experience
3. Minimum of 2+ years in application development and SDLC
4. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience
5. Experience leading the analysis, extraction, and documentation of business requirements and testing on projects, system enhancements and defects
6. Demonstrated understanding of IT project management, SDLC processes and methodologies, such as Waterfall, Agile Scrum and associated best practices, leveraging tools such as JIRA (or other project management tools)
7. Experience identifying gaps, risks, and impact for solution recommendations
8. Production support experience
9. Excellent verbal and written communication skills - comfortable and confident communicating to all levels of the organization, both business and IT
10. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and requirements, including the ability to multi-task and juggle many competing priorities and deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Salesforce Admin Certification (highly preferred)
2. Experience with Salesforce Lightning components
3. Experience with Media/Entertainment, studio-based TV Distribution, or finance systems as an analyst or consulting professional
4. Experience with Smartsheet
5. Experience with user experience and wireframe/mockup creation
6. Experience with business intelligence and analytical tools
7. Ability to run/write simple SQL queries for data analysis
8. Experience with data architecture, data warehouse and middleware/ETL tools and technologies
9. Has worked within a project team over multiple geographic / international locations.

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
