Job Summary


We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Salesforce Administrator III to lead the design, optimization, and governance of our Salesforce ecosystem. In this role, you will not only ensure the platform meets current operational needs but also serve as a strategic partner in aligning Salesforce capabilities with long-term business objectives. As a critical member of the Strategic Initiatives and Business Execution team, you will drive system improvements, guide cross-functional teams on CRM strategy, and help us scale Salesforce to enable growth and innovation across the organization.


Must be located in Carmel Indiana or willing to relocate!

  

Duties/ Responsibilities


1. Strategic Planning & Leadership

  1. Develop and execute a long-term strategy for Salesforce that aligns with the company’s vision, ensuring it evolves with business needs and industry trends.
  2. Collaborate with senior leadership to define CRM goals and key performance indicators     (KPIs), using Salesforce as a foundation to achieve these objectives.
  3. Proactively identify opportunities where Salesforce can create competitive advantages     through process improvements, data insights, and automation.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, and IT, to ensure
  5. seamless integration and alignment across platforms
  6. Serve as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders, presenting data-driven     recommendations for Salesforce initiatives that support revenue growth, customer engagement, and operational efficiency.


2. Business Process Optimization

  1. Lead discovery sessions with business units (Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, etc.) to analyze current workflows and identify opportunities for optimization.
  2. Design scalable, efficient processes within Salesforce that streamline operations and reduce redundancies.
  3. Establish governance practices to prioritize high-impact initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall business strategy.
  4. Utilize advanced automation tools (e.g., Flows, Process Builder) to eliminate manual tasks and improve system reliability.


3. Data-Driven Decision-Making

  1. Oversee the creation of advanced dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights for leadership and key stakeholders.
  2. Establish data governance policies to ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across the platform.
  3. Design, adapt, & maintain data architecture and integrations with external systems
  4. Leverage analytics to identify trends and recommend strategies for sales performance, customer engagement, and operational improvements.


4. Platform Optimization & Scalability

  1. Develop a Salesforce roadmap that ensures the platform can scale with the organization’s growth and evolving needs.
  2. Lead the implementation of new Salesforce features, including AppExchange tools and custom solutions, to enhance business capabilities.
  3. Evaluate and integrate third-party applications and systems to support strategic business objectives, ensuring seamless cross-platform interoperability.
  4. Monitor system performance and implement changes to maximize speed, functionality, and reliability.


5. Change Management & User Adoption

  1. Develop a strategic change management plan to ensure smooth adoption of Salesforce     improvements across all levels of the organization.
  2. Lead training initiatives to empower users with the skills needed to fully leverage Salesforce’s potential.
  3. Act as a champion for Salesforce within the organization, promoting its value and driving adoption through strategic communication.


6. Governance, Compliance, & Risk Management

  1. Establish and enforce a Salesforce governance model, ensuring consistency in configurations, processes, and usage across teams.
  2. Proactively monitor platform security and compliance with relevant standards, such as GDPR, HIPAA, or CCPA.
  3. Conduct regular audits and risk assessments, addressing gaps that could hinder the     platform’s ability to meet strategic goals.


Requirements


Education/Certifications

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
  2. Salesforce Certified Administrator (required)
  3. Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder, or related certifications (preferred)


Experience

  1. 5+ years as a Salesforce Administrator, with a min of 2 years in a senior or strategic role.
  2. Proven track record of driving strategic initiatives using Salesforce to achieve measurable business outcomes.
  3. Experience collaborating with senior leadership and cross-functional teams on CRM strategy.


Skills & Competencies

  1. Expertise in Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud and relevant CRM     solutions.
  2. Deep knowledge of Salesforce integrations, APIs, and data migration strategies
  3. Advanced knowledge of automation tools (Flows, Process Builder) and reporting capabilities.
  4. Capabilities with Salesforce development tools including APEX, VisualForce, and SOQL
  5. Experience with integration tools like MuleSoft or Boomi, and API frameworks.
  6. Strong understanding of business processes, including sales pipelines, customer success, and marketing campaigns.
  7. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on strategic thinking and long-term planning.
  8. Proven ability to balance technical expertise with business acumen to deliver impactful solutions.
  9. Strong communication skills to effectively present strategies and results to all stakeholders.
  10. Experience with varying LLM(s) preferred
