Responsibilities 

Shamrock Trading Corporation is looking for a Salesforce Developer to join our technology team. The Salesforce Developer is responsible for leading the design and development of custom CRM solutions in support of business operations. The Salesforce Developer will collaborate with team members and stakeholders to create automations, customizations and integrations on the Salesforce platform, as well as refactoring and improving existing customizations to align with platform changes and best practices. An ideal candidate will be a problem-solver with excellent communication skills, a strong command of the platform, and a passion for continuous learning. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Collaborate with internal customers and the Salesforce team to design, implement and maintain thoroughly tested and scalable Salesforce solutions focused on delivering value to our stakeholders
2. Assist in day-to-day administration, troubleshooting and maintenance of the CRM platform
3. Identify and address technical debt and potential liabilities in the CRM platform
4. Work with team, and collaborate with other IT teams to implement stability, security, and performance enhancements
5. Work with technical team to manage DevOps processes, to include some after-hours deployments
6. Maintain platform aptitude through continued study, to include platform release updates and other technologies in the greater Shamrock tech stack
7. Create technical documentation, like user guides, release notes and design documents
8. Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related experience
2. Salesforce certifications highly desirable and a plus, particularly Salesforce Associate, Platform Developer I or II
3. 2+ years of experience in Salesforce development
4. Strong background in customizing and developing within the Salesforce platform; including Apex, Flow, Lightning Components and API integrations
5. Experience with web technologies, i.e., HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery
6. Knowledge of Apex, Visualforce and other Salesforce development technologies
7. Deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, best practices, and development and testing methodologies
8. Experience integrating Salesforce with external platforms and services
9. Strong customer-facing communication and listening skills
10. Proven success in and genuine enthusiasm for working with collaborative customer technical teams
11. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing business needs.
