Senior Salesforce Administrator

Responsibilities

The Senior Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for executing the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance, and improvement of the Salesforce platform. In addition, will be the administrator for all the packages and features added on to the base platform.

 Responsibilities

1. Responsible for regular maintenance of the org
2. User login reports
3. Critical warnings
4. Health checks
5. Optimizations
6. Responsible for daily operations of the org
7. Checking scheduled batch jobs
8. Dashboards
9. All regularly occurring tasks
10. Maintain sandboxes, and lower testing environments
11. Maintain the training environment
12. Provide support to internal customers
13. Mentor junior administrators
14. Staying up to date on releases
15. Review the Salesforce Release notes and test the preview sandboxes
16. Responsible for deployments
17. Develop reports/dashboards and assist end-users when they have questions
18. Create and following-up on cases with Salesforce report
19. Create custom apps using tools such as SF Flows, page layouts, record types, approval process, etc.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, business administration, or equivalent work experience.
2. Advanced Salesforce Administrator Certification or equivalent experience highly preferred
3. 7+ years working with enterprise level Salesforce.com instance with at least 1,000 users
4. 7+ years of analyst experience and/or experience with insurance processes
5. 7+ years of Salesforce Administration experience
6. Minimum 3 years of experience designing and configuring on 1 or more Salesforce Clouds – Service Cloud/Sales Cloud/Experience Cloud/Marketing Cloud
7. Strong knowledge of Agile/Lean methodologies
8. Experience engaging developers and business partners to achieve target outcomes
9. Handson configuration of new and existing Salesforce.com features including user management, roles/profiles, permission sets, custom objects, new page layouts, custom fields, formula fields, validations, workflows rules, email templates, process builder, flows, lightning pages, custom metadata types, custom settings, and managed packages
10. Ability to create Salesforce Reports/Dashboards for business needs
11. Experience implementing Salesforce solutions in highly regulated industries
12. Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices and functionality
13. Ability to design and implement new processes and facilitate user adaption
14. Excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to explain technology in business terms
15. Knowledge of the Insurance industry is a plus
16. Proficiency in some combination of the following skills:
17. Proficiency in Jira/Confluence
18. Salesforce Data tools (Data Loader, Workbench, Schema Builder)
19. Deploying multiple components (100+) into different environments (Sandbox vs. Production)
