The Business Systems team utilizes a variety of enterprise tools and solutions to solve many of Plaid's most important operational issues. In addition to maintaining Plaid’s Salesforce and Zendesk instances, this team is also responsible for many of Plaid’s most business-critical applications and tooling, such as Lead Scoring, PRM, CPQ, Contract Management, and Support Systems. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Salesforce Developer to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our Salesforce team, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and implementing sophisticated solutions within the Salesforce platform. You will collaborate closely with the business analyst team to understand requirements, provide technical expertise, and ensure the seamless integration of Salesforce with other systems.



Requirements

  1. Design, develop, test, and deploy applications on the Salesforce platform
  2. Make cognizant decisions on utilizing out-of-the-box automation vs customizations
  3. Work closely with leaders in the business tech and cross-functional teams to deliver solutions focussed on solving business problems
  4. Hands-on developing applications utilizing Apex, Visualforce, Aura, Triggers, and REST APIs
  5. Work on VS Code, Github, and CICD processes to maintain code sanity
  6. Write technical specifications documents, including architecture diagrams, data model diagrams, process flows, and sequence diagrams
  7. Work on user stories related to ongoing projects, tech-debt, process optimization and performance improvement
  8. Work closely with the sustaining team and proactively plan on the knowledge transfer processes


Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field
  2. Masters preferred
  3. 5+ years of hands-on experience leveraging Apex programming and Lightning framework
  4. 5+ years of experience designing and building applications on the Salesforce platform
  5. Strong analytical and technical skills, including fluency in SQL
  6. Ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment with a high degree of autonomy
  7. Ability to build productive and positive relationships across the organization at all levels
  8. Ability to drive consensus across cross-functional teams and influence decision making
  9. Ability to own Salesforce data integrity




$133,920 - $218,160 a year

Target base salary for this role is between $133,920 and $218,160 per year. Additional compensation in the form(s) of equity and/or commission are dependent on the position offered. Plaid provides a comprehensive benefit plan, including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k). Pay is based on factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience and skillset, and location. Pay and benefits are subject to change at any time, consistent with the terms of any applicable compensation or benefit plans.
