Ness is seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer with a strong background in object-oriented programming and a deep understanding of the Salesforce platform. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in Apex, Lightning Framework, and integrations, along with a passion for delivering high-quality solutions. 


Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement Salesforce solutions utilizing Apex and the Lightning framework (LWC and Aura).
  2. Utilize JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for front-end development.
  3. Create and manage web services using SOAP, REST, BULK, and Streaming APIs.
  4. Integrate Salesforce with external web services for data synchronization.
  5. Collaborate with third-party tools to enhance business processes.
  6. Develop mobile applications using Salesforce Mobile App features.
  7. Ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices when developing solutions.
  8. Write comprehensive test classes and create triggers, batch classes, and future methods.
  9. Configure process automation, security settings, and design data models, reports, and dashboards.
  10. Participate in agile implementations and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  11. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing updates and sharing knowledge.
  12. This position will be a hybrid role in New York City. 


Must-Have Qualifications:

  1. 8+ years of experience as a Salesforce Developer.
  2. Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
  3. In-depth knowledge of Apex and the Lightning framework (LWC + Aura).
  4. Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  5. Experience with web services (SOAP, REST, BULK, Streaming APIs).
  6. Proven track record in integrations for data synchronization.
  7. Familiarity with Salesforce Mobile App development.
  8. Expertise in adhering to Salesforce best practices.
  9. Ability to write test classes and develop triggers, batch classes, and future methods.
  10. Strong experience in process automation and creating reports and dashboards.
  11. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.


Good to Have:

  1. Experience with AppExchange products, such as Conga or other reporting tools.
  2. Salesforce App Builder and Platform Developer certifications.
