YOUR ROLE:


We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer to join our technology team, focusing on configuring, managing, and customizing our existing Salesforce instance. This role requires strong technical expertise and the ability to work in secure government environments.


YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Design, develop, and implement complex customizations within Salesforce using Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Visualforce
  2. Configure and maintain Salesforce environments, including sandbox and production instances
  3. Create and maintain custom objects, fields, workflows, and automation processes
  4. Develop integration solutions between Salesforce and external systems
  5. Implement and maintain security controls in accordance with government compliance requirements
  6. Provide technical documentation and support for implemented solutions


REQUIRED SKILLS:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  2. 3+ years of experience in Salesforce development and customization
  3. Strong proficiency in Apex programming, SOQL, and Lightning Web Components
  4. Salesforce Platform Developer I certification (minimum)
  5. Experience working in government or highly regulated environments
  6. Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance
  7. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills


Preferred Qualifications

  1. Salesforce Platform Developer II certification
  2. Experience with Salesforce CPQ and Marketing Cloud
  3. Knowledge of agile development methodologies
  4. Previous experience working with government clients

This range is specific to Chicago and multiple factors are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to: skill set, experience and training, certifications; etc. This is an exempt position.
