Position Overview: 

As a Senior Salesforce Developer, you will be responsible for leading the technical aspects of Salesforce projects, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including sales, success and support ops leaders and analysts. Your expertise in Salesforce development, configuration, customization, integration, and best practices will be critical in ensuring the success of our Salesforce initiatives. 

You will also mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Responsibilities:

1. As a senior member of the Salesforce development team, you will lead the project development from requirements to deployment on Salesforce and salesforce related tools. 
2. Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, and other related technologies.
3. Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions that align with business goals.
4. Customize and configure Salesforce to address complex business processes and requirements.
5. Perform data migrations and integrations between Salesforce and other systems using APIs, middleware, and ETL tools.
6. Architect and implement solutions that follow best practices in security, scalability, and maintainability.
7. Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior developers, conducting code reviews and ensuring high-quality code standards are maintained.
8. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Salesforce applications, integrations, and customizations.
9. Stay up-to-date with the latest Salesforce features, releases, and industry trends to propose innovative solutions.
10. Collaborate with the QA team to ensure thorough testing of applications and resolve any defects.
11. Participate in the evaluation and selection of new tools, technologies, and processes to enhance the development and deployment process.
12. Contribute to the development and maintenance of documentation related to architecture, design, and technical processes.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
2. Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Salesforce development.
3. Salesforce Platform Developer certification is required; additional certifications such as Application Architect or System Architect are a plus.
4. Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and other Salesforce development technologies.
5. Strong understanding of Salesforce integration patterns, REST and SOAP APIs, and data migration techniques.
6. Experience with version control systems and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
7. Solid understanding of software development best practices and design patterns.
8. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
9. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
10. Leadership skills and the ability to mentor and guide junior developers.
11. Proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions on time and within scope.

The pay range for this role is listed below. Some sales and success roles are also eligible for variable compensation and hourly non-exempt roles are eligible for overtime in accordance with applicable law. This role is eligible for benefits, including: medical, dental and vision coverage, health savings accounts, flexible spending accounts, 401(k), flexible paid time off and company-paid holidays and a culture of learning that includes a learning allowance and access to a professional coaching service for all employees.

Base Pay Range For US Locations:

$116,000—$174,000 USD
