Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Lead QA Engineer to oversee and elevate the quality assurance process for our Salesforce development team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of QA engineers, implementing testing strategies, and ensuring the highest level of quality across all Salesforce solutions. You’ll play a critical role in maintaining seamless deployments, improving testing processes, and driving continuous delivery in a fast-paced, agile environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA engineers, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
  2. Agile Collaboration: Work closely with Product Owners, Developers, and Scrum Masters within agile sprints to define testing requirements and ensure user stories meet acceptance criteria.
  3. Test Strategy & Execution: Design and implement end-to-end testing strategies, including functional, regression, integration, UAT, and performance testing for Salesforce solutions.
  4. Automation Framework: Enhance and maintain automation frameworks for Salesforce using tools compatible with Copado and Azure DevOps.
  5. Release Management: Oversee QA involvement in Copado-driven release processes, ensuring zero-defect deployments and smooth CI/CD pipelines.
  6. Defect Management: Track and manage defects using Azure DevOps, ensuring timely resolution and quality delivery.
  7. Continuous Improvement: Analyze existing QA processes, identify gaps, and introduce best practices to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  8. Compliance & Standards: Ensure all Salesforce customizations comply with organizational standards and industry best practices.


Qualifications:

  1. 5+ years of QA experience, with 2+ years in a leadership role.
  2. Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce platform (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or other Salesforce modules).
  3. Experience with Copado for release management and Azure DevOps for work tracking
  4. Solid knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in fast sprint cycles.
  5. Proficiency in automation testing tools (such as Selenium, Provar, or similar) tailored for Salesforce environments.
  6. Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI) and data migration validations.
  7. Strong understanding of QA best practices, testing frameworks, and defect management.
  8. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  9. Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Platform App Builder, or QA-specific certs) are a plus.


Preferred Skills:

  1. Experience with Performance Testing and Security Testing for Salesforce.
  2. Exposure to Salesforce DX and version control best practices.
  3. Background in CI/CD pipelines specific to Salesforce development.
