About the Opportunity

DMI, LLC is seeking a Sr. Salesforce Platform Developer to join us. This role is hybrid, requiring 3 days per week onsite in Auburn Hills, MI. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

The Sr. Salesforce Platform Developer leads & supports the existing salesforce system landscape and leads the development of CRM use cases on the lightning platform. Sr. CRM engineer designs solutions on the platform to enable CRM use cases. This role works with customer data and ensures client privacy and security policies are observed, data is cleansed and of quality to support customer communication. Role also supports CRM and marketing related projects on salesforce as a subject matter expert (SME) and participate in process improvement including DevOps and is able to deliver over-all Sales force Solution blue printing and built on existing architecture 

1. Serves as Salesforce functional subject matter expert
2. Lead the integration of Salesforce with external systems via APIs and middleware (REST/SOAP).
3. Translate business requirements into well-architected technical solutions.
4. Maintain and improve CI/CD processes for Salesforce deployments.
5. Implement AI-driven features using Salesforce Einstein, GPT APIs, and other predictive tools to enhance business workflows.
6. Map business requirements into native salesforce functionality
7. Provides best practice guidance regarding configuration vs. customization
8. Design technical architecture of the solution
9. Design and deliver data integration and migration strategy into SFDC platform
10. Feasibility analysis of business requirements
11. Ability to understand data sourcing, volume & velocity and make recommendations for system implementation
12. Validate Salesforce object model
13. Ability to map Business requirements to detailed Salesforce product specifications
14. Guidance with mapping of the roadmap of key components
15. Domain testing of Application to execute on the business cases
16. Documents and analyzes business processes using value-added/non-value-added, process modeling tools, cost-time charts, and root cause analysis or other tools as appropriate
17. Documents functional requirements for use by application designers and developers
18. Experience in Business Process Management, initial scoping, requirement analysis, Solution design, Application support
19. Work with marketing agency partners to consult and support marketing campaigns

Qualifications

Education and Years of Experience:  

1. 5-7 years of experience as Salesforce and/or Web Developer implementing Salesforce & Web solutions.
2. 4+ years of experience as Salesforce Platform Consultant 

Required Skills/Certifications: 

1. Experience integrating AI or automation into Salesforce workflows.
2. Familiarity with Git, SFDX, and modern CI/CD practices
3. Extensive Hands on experience with Salesforce Lightning Service Cloud as developer & administrator
4. Strong experience in using Apex Classes, Visual force page to customize portals
5. Strong experience in using SoQL, Process Builder, Lightning components for UI 
6. Development experience on SF Community Cloud desired.
7. Strong working knowledge with web technologies XML, HTML, CSS, WSDL, SOAP, JSON 
8. Strong technical development skills in Oracle 12C, SQL Plus & TOAD 
9. Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Platform Developer I, & SF App Builder certifications a must.
10. Ability to operate to brand needs and deliver results to time, quality and cost control 
11. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (technical and non-technical) 
12. Extremely “Detail-Oriented” individual with the ability to multi-task 
13. Capable of performing tasks in dynamic/changing circumstances 
14. Strong “customer-focused” individual with a passion for responding to the needs of customers 
15. Ability to quickly get up to speed and learn new technologies and concepts 
16. Strong analytical skills similar to data scientist 
17. Automotive, & CRM industry experience a plus.
18. Prior experience as Salesforce Consultant to business and mapping requirements to Salesforce Platform a must.
19. Leverage Salesforce's AI capabilities, including Einstein and GPT-powered tools, to design and implement intelligent, data-driven solutions that enhance user experience and automate complex business processes.
20. Extensive Hands on experience with Salesforce Lightning Service Cloud as developer & administrator
21. Strong working knowledge with web technologies XML, HTML, CSS, WSDL, SOAP, JSON, Python 
22. Strong technical development skills in Oracle 12C, SQL Plus & TOAD 
23. Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Platform Developer I, & SF App Builder certifications a must.
24. Leverage Salesforce Data Cloud to unify and activate customer data across systems, enabling real-time personalization, advanced segmentation, and AI-driven insights within the Salesforce ecosystem

Desired Certifications: 

1. Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Platform Developer I, & SF App Builder
2. SF API certifications Desired
3. Extensive experience cleansing, managing, and validating customer data in Salesforce
4. Tableau, or similar business intelligence software experience a plus
