POSITION SUMMARY: 

Magellan Jets is seeking a dynamic and talented Salesforce Developer to join our team. As a Salesforce Developer, you will play a critical role in optimizing and enhancing our Sales Cloud platform to streamline business processes and deliver a superior experience to our clients and internal teams. The successful candidate will have 3-5 years of experience as a Salesforce Developer and be certified in Salesforce development. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 

As a Salesforce Developer, you will: 

1. Design and maintain tailored Salesforce solutions to meet business needs. 
2. Develop APEX code, including classes and triggers, to implement custom business logic effectively. 
3. Create engaging Visualforce pages and Lightning components to enhance user interfaces and improve user experience. 
4. Utilize Data Loader for seamless data import, export, and manipulation within the Salesforce platform. 
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design innovative solutions, and implement Salesforce enhancements. 
6. Integrate Salesforce with external systems by leveraging APIs and various integration tools. 
7. Conduct unit testing and debugging of Salesforce solutions to ensure optimal performance and maintain data integrity. 
8. Assist in documenting technical specifications, workflows, and configurations for future reference. 

COMPETENCIES: 

Knowledge:   

1. A minimum of 4 years of experience as a Salesforce Developer 
2. Salesforce Developer Certification required 
3. Proficiency in Salesforce Sales Cloud and related objects 
4. Familiarity with Data Loader and data manipulation 
5. Experience with Salesforce integration with external systems 

 Skills:   

1. Experience in writing APEX code, including classes and triggers 
2. Ability to create Visualforce pages and Lightning components 
3. Utilization of Data Loader to import, export, and manipulate data within Salesforce platform 
4. Perform unit testing and debugging of Salesforce solutions 

Abilities:   

1. Develop and maintain custom Salesforce solutions 
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement Salesforce enhancements 
3. Integrate Salesforce with external systems, leveraging APIs and other integration tools 
4. Assist in documenting technical specifications, workflows, and configurations 
5. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail 
6. Excellent communication and teamwork skills 
7. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment 

 SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

This position doesn’t have any supervisory responsibilities. 

WORK ENVIRONMENT: 

1. Location: Primarily office-based, with 1 remote/ work from home day each week 
2. Conditions: General office environment with moderate noise levels. Occasional travel to aircraft or client locations may be required 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: 

1. Extended periods sitting at a desk or workstation 
2. Occasional walking/ movement between work areas (e.g., meetings, restrooms, or kitchen) 
3. Repetitive Hand and Wrist Movements via frequent typing and use of a mouse 
4. Light lifting of office supplies, documents, or equipment (up to 20 lbs) 
5. Screen Use: Prolonged use of a computer screen 

POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK: 

This is a Full-Time Exempt position. 

TRAVEL: 

Limited, but may require occasional overnight travel for industry conferences, client meetings, or operational oversight at other locations.
