As Sr. Salesforce Developer I, you’ll be designing, developing, and deploying custom Salesforce solutions that meet our clients' evolving business needs. You will be responsible for writing high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code, adhering to best practices and contributing to a collaborative development environment. A key aspect of this role involves understanding and effectively navigating Salesforce's tri-annual release cycle.

What you’ll do:

1. Design, develop, test, and deploy Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura Components, Visualforce, SOQL, SOSL, and relevant Salesforce APIs.
2. Develop complex declarative solutions using Flow, Process Builder, Workflow Rules, and Validation Rules, understanding when code is necessary.
3. Implement robust batch processing and asynchronous operations (Batch Apex, Queueable Apex, Scheduled Apex, Platform Events, Change Data Capture).
4. Plan and execute technical tasks associated with system cutovers for major projects or platform migrations, including data migration strategies, deployment sequencing, and hypercare support.
5. Lead technical design sessions and contribute to architectural decisions for Salesforce projects, particularly concerning integration and custom development.
6. Establish, promote, and enforce coding standards, design patterns, and development best practices, including code reviews and unit testing.
7. Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
8. Possess a strong understanding of event-driven architecture principles and their application within the Salesforce context.
9. Expertise in Salesforce DX (SFDX), source control (Git, including branching strategies like Gitflow), and repository management.
10. Implementing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Gearset, Copado, AutoRABIT, or Jenkins with SFDX plugins.

What you’ll need to succeed:

1. Active secret clearance or ability to obtain
2. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
3. You have a Platform Developer I certification.
4. 5+ experience as a Salesforce Developer, with a strong understanding of Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, and SOSL.
5. 5+ Experience with Salesforce APIs (REST, SOAP) and integration patterns.
6. 3+ Proficiency in version control systems (e.g., Git).
7. 3+ Experience with Salesforce development tools (e.g., Salesforce DX, Visual Studio Code).
8. Strong understanding of Salesforce release management processes and best practices, including sandbox testing, regression testing, and production smoke testing.
9. Experience in technical leadership including mentoring and guiding junior developers, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning across the team.
