Description

PURPOSE

The Senior Salesforce Administrator will play a critical leadership role within the IT department, overseeing the strategic development, implementation, and maintenance of our Salesforce platform and related integrations. This position will lead a team of Salesforce Administrators, acting as a key trainer for both the team and organization. Overall, this role will ensure the effective utilization of Salesforce to support the mission and operational needs of the CRCNA. 


This position offers a flexible work schedule, attractive benefits package (including retirement fund contribution) and three weeks vacation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

  1. Lead, mentor, and evaluate performance for a team of Salesforce Administrators, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
  2. Contribute to the professional development of team members through coaching, training, and identifying growth opportunities.
  3. Serve as the subject matter expert for the CRCNA’s Salesforce platform, providing strategic guidance and technical expertise.
  4. Develop and maintain custom Apex code, triggers, classes, and components as needed.
  5. Manage user roles, profiles, permissions, and security settings to ensure data integrity and compliance.
  6. Develop and implement data quality standards and procedures.
  7. Design and maintain complex automation and integration workflows to streamline business processes.
  8. Troubleshoot integration issues and work with relevant teams to ensure seamless data flow.
  9. Manage the organization’s Salesforce backup and recovery strategy.
  10. Ensure data privacy and security per organizational policies and relevant regulations.
  11. Design, configure, and implement Salesforce solutions to meet evolving business requirements.
  12. Collaborate with various departments to understand their data and reporting needs, translating them into effective Salesforce solutions.
  13. Lead Salesforce-related projects from initiation to completion.
  14. Prioritize and manage a backlog of Salesforce enhancements and support requests.
  15. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of Salesforce configurations, processes, and integrations.
  16. Develop and deliver engaging and effective training materials and sessions for Salesforce users across the organization, catering to various technical skill levels.
  17. Interact with Salesforce and other relevant vendors as needed.
  18. Stay current with Salesforce releases, features, and best practices, and make recommendations for platform enhancements.
  19. Other duties as assigned by the Information Technology Director.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERTISE:

QUALIFICATIONS:

Ability to support the mission, vision, and values of the CRCNA.

  1. Extensive experience with Salesforce Flows, including complex automation and orchestration.
  2. Strong proficiency in Apex code, including triggers, classes, and SOQL/SOSL.
  3. Proven experience with integration tools, preferably Make.com.
  4. Demonstrated experience leading and mentoring a team of technical professionals.
  5. Excellent training skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and patiently.
  6. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  7. Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  8. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field required. 
  2. Salesforce Administrator certification required. 
  3. Significant experience as a Salesforce Administrator is required. 
  4. Experience working with nonprofit organizations is preferred.
