Summary


The Salesforce Administrator will lead the ongoing development and optimization of our SalesForce.com usage. The successful candidate will have a record of success in improving processes, automation, and adoption across the platform. This role requires strong technical and interpersonal skills, as the administrator will partner closely with functional leaders, organizational units, and subject matter experts to identify, develop, and deploy business processes, including System Support, Marketing, Outreach, and core program operations. The Salesforce Administrator will act as the central resource for onboarding, training, and cross-department Salesforce adoption, ensuring alignment and efficiency. This role is part technical project manager, part administrator, and part Salesforce analyst, responsible for day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our CRM platform.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  1. Serve as primary system administrator for the Salesforce.com environment with 150+ users
  2. Handle all basic administrative functions including user account maintenance, reports and dashboards, work-flows, automations, flows, and other routine tasks 
  3. Complete regular internal system audits and prepare for upgrades
  4. Manage Salesforce.com data feeds and other integrations
  5. Coordinate the evaluation, scope and completion of new development requests.
  6. Work with our institutional management team to establish suitable processes to support administrative, development, and change management activities
  7. Train and onboard all new users, serving as the go-to resource for Salesforce functionality and cross-department process alignment
  8. Support adoption through clear communication of how departments and processes are interconnected in Salesforce
  9. Effectively act as the liaison between our users, vendors and the application development teams
  10. Work independently with members of the user community to define and document development requirements

  6. Must demonstrate ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
  7. Ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs
  8. Comfort working within structured, collaborative approval processes
  9. Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on Salesforce.com and all upstream and downstream applications, systems and processes
  10. Knowledge of Copado (DevOps platform) preferred

Base Compensation Range: 75k-80k per year. Compensation is determined based on competitive market data, experience, skillset and geographical location.
