Purpose

Are you an aspiring Salesforce administrator looking for an internship? Do you want to learn from highly-skilled veterans? Do you want to assist in day-to-day operations of ARAG’s customer relationship management system, Salesforce? ARAG is hiring a Salesforce Administrator Intern for summer 2026! The intern will support the existing Salesforce team by building features to meet ARAG’s business requirements. This is an immersed learning opportunity for someone looking for a blend of business and technology. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Manages and administers Salesforce by creating and managing:
  2. Objects (Standard and Custom)
  3. Fields
  4. Queues
  5. Lists
  6. Reports / Dashboards
  7. Maintains data cleanliness standards by following and enforcing master data management, governance policies, and change management processes.
  8. Maintains comprehensive documentation for System requirements, processes, and standards (Salesforce Data Dictionary, Database Schema, Workflow Rules, Validation Rules, etc.).
  9. Conducts testing and addresses user issues as they arise.
  10. Communicates and answers questions for users, as appropriate.
  11. Serves as a positive role model by representing ARAG at its Best.
  12. Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications


Knowledge:

Required:

  1. Knowledge of an average sales cycle

Preferred:

  1. Salesforce exposure
  2. Knowledge of software development life cycle and methodologies
  3. Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment Concepts


Skills:

Required:

  1. Willingness to learn and work with new and existing technologies.
  2. Ability to effectively operate and remain positive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  3. Ability to maintain confidentially of data.
  4. Ability to follow existing processes.
  5. Strong attention to detail while multi-tasking.

Preferred:

  1. Ability to trouble-shoot and resolve issues at a functional level.
  2. Ability to effectively partner with associates from a variety of business units.
  3. Ability to effectively and efficiently manage project workload and prioritization.
  4. Self-motivated and able to proactively take initiative to accomplish tasks.


Education:

  1. Currently pursuing, or already has completed, a bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or other technology-related fields or equivalent combination of education, experience and formal training in a related field. Must be in good academic standing with applicable college institution.
