Now, you’re probably wondering a little more about what we are looking for, so here it is:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or related field of study or,
  2. Successful completion and graduation of a related coding boot camp or,
  3. Demonstration of self-taught, thorough understanding of related programming fundamentals and concepts
  4. Salesforce Administrator and Platform Developer I certification
  5. 4+ years of Salesforce development experience – Required
  6. Experience with Sales Cloud – Required
  7. Salesforce Financial Service Cloud (FSC) Experience – Preferred
  8. Financial Services industry experience – Preferred
  9. Proficient knowledge of products and services offered by Nextek and industry
  10. Proficient knowledge of financial services industry
  11. Advanced skills in debugging across technologies
  12. Advanced communication skills with all team members
  13. Advanced technical skills
  14. Advanced skills in architecting applications
  15. Advanced skill in time-management
  16. Advanced skill in multi-tasking
  17. Advanced skill with company software
  18. Ability to work nights, as necessary
  19. Ability to mentor other developers in their coding
  20. Ability to coordinate and release code to production
  21. Ability to listen and consider all views and perspectives

  1. Develop, test, and deploy custom configurations and new Salesforce modules based on evolving business needs
  2. Manage Salesforce updates, troubleshooting and resolution
  3. Maintain up to date knowledge of Salesforce functionality, customization and integrations
  4. Adhere to development standards to ensure code maintainability and collaborative development
  5. Identify and implement solutions to improve system performance, data integrity and overall user experience
  6. Collaborate across teams to troubleshoot and resolve integration and development issues within the Salesforce environment
  7. Scope and implement solutions independently for your product team
  8. Handle open-ended problems and ambiguity well
  9. Make strong design decisions based on potential issues, tradeoffs, and risks
  10. Implement work at appropriate level of abstraction
  11. Display proficiency in relevant technical skills and maintain a deep understanding of large portions of the codebase
  12. Ask for guidance in unfamiliar technical areas from the associated experts
  13. Persist through roadblocks

  37. Provide suggestions for new or enhanced events and/or services, assist in the development of events/services, and provide ongoing feedback to management
  38. Create and document current and new processes
  39. Initiate and work with team members to promote collaboration and team development
  40. Be a resource to team members to answer advanced questions regarding client correspondence, processes and procedures, compliance, and all other as necessary
  41. Provide training and insight to team members on best practices
  42. Assist with cross-training for growth for team members
  43. All other duties as assigned
