As a Salesforce Administrator at Hiive you will join our fast moving Sales Operations team. This role is ideal for a system health and maintenance enthusiast who also excels at collaborating with the business to solve problems and optimize processes.


You will manage the daily operations of our Salesforce instance, which includes gathering requirements, documenting procedures, and implementing declarative solutions. The successful candidate is an extremely detail-oriented 'go-getter' who thrives in a fast-paced enterprise setting and possesses a strong grasp of Salesforce best practices, especially concerning change management and DevOps.


In this role, your responsibilities would include:

  1. Performing daily administration and maintenance of the Salesforce production environment, including user management, data integrity checks, system health monitoring, and security settings.
  2. Serving as a key point of contact for end-user support by triaging, analyzing, and resolving complex production issues, including debugging Flows, permissions, and data problems.
  3. Collaborating with Sales, Marketing, and Execution teams to gather, define, and document functional requirements, while maintaining high-quality process documentation, system diagrams, and user guides.
  4. Designing, building, testing, and deploying scalable declarative solutions with a strong emphasis on Flows, validation rules, and page layouts.
  5. Following Hiive’s change management and DevOps processes, using tools such as Salesforce DevOps Center, Flosum, or Gearset to manage deployments across environments.
  6. Working closely with developers and analysts to jointly design effective solutions for business challenges.
  7. Configuring, administering, and maintaining key AppExchange packages and integrations including Salesloft, Outreach, Conga, and DocuSign.
  8. Developing and delivering training materials and sessions to support user adoption and platform best practices.
  9.  

Required Skills:

  1. 2–5 years of hands-on Salesforce Administration experience, ideally within large enterprise or financial services environments.
  2. Salesforce Certified Administrator, Advanced Administrator, or equivalent certifications.
  3. Strong proficiency in building, maintaining, and debugging advanced Salesforce Flows.
  4. Practical experience with Salesforce change management and DevOps principles.
  5. Hands-on experience with at least one Salesforce DevOps or release management tool (DevOps Center, Flosum, Gearset).
  6. Proficiency in SOQL for data validation, analysis, and debugging.
  7. Experience configuring and managing AppExchange tools such as Conga, DocuSign, Salesloft, and Outreach.
  8. Extremely detail-oriented and committed to accuracy.
  9. A proactive, self-starter mindset with strong ownership and follow-through.
  10. Highly organized, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple concurrent tasks.
  11. Strong process documentation skills and the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  12. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to support and train non-technical users.


Preferred Skills:

  1. Additional Salesforce certifications, such as Advanced Administrator or Platform App Builder.
  2. Advanced SOQL skills and a foundational understanding of Apex.
  3. Experience with other CRMs or integrations with ERP systems.
  4. Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
