We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer to join our Business Applications team. In this role, you will oversee day-to-day Salesforce operations, drive custom development, and integrate third-party applications to support business needs. You will work along side other Salesforce administrators and developers, while serving as a trusted partner to business stakeholders.

This is a highly technical role with significant business impact. You will collaborate closely with Sales Operations, Business Operations, and other cross-functional teams to ensure Salesforce processes, systems, and tools are aligned with organizational goals.

This is a fully remote role, open to candidates based in the United States or Canada.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead and implement the Salesforce development lifecycle, including best practices, QA, and code reviews.
2. Design, develop, test, and deploy solutions on Salesforce.com and the Force.com platform.
3. Serve as the escalation point for troubleshooting, problem-solving, and solution design.
4. Partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions and communicate technology roadmaps.
5. Collaborate with sales and marketing technology tools (e.g., Salesforce CPQ, SalesLoft, ZoomInfo).
6. Contribute to the strategy and roadmap for sales systems to provide a competitive edge for the business.
7. Break down complex business problems into actionable technical tasks.
8. Resolve Salesforce-related support tickets and deliver high-quality solutions.
9. Research, prototype, and implement new Salesforce features, apps, and integrations.
10. Stay current on Salesforce and Force.com trends, advising leadership on future opportunities.

Qualifications:

1. 6-8 years of hands-on Salesforce development and administration experience in a complex, fast-paced environment (enterprise software preferred).
2. Salesforce-certified professional with deep expertise across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Enterprise, and Lightning.
3. Experience with Salesforce CPQ and integration tools such as MuleSoft or other iPaaS platforms.
4. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to design and optimize business processes across multiple systems.
5. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify technical concepts for business stakeholders.
6. Proven track record of working independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams (Marketing, Finance, IT, etc.).
7. Strong organizational skills with the ability to balance short-term requests and long-term project deliverables.
8. Detail-oriented and process-minded, with the ability to produce high-quality technical and business documentation.

Bonus Points:

1. Experience working directly with Sales, Marketing, and Sales Operations teams.
2. Passion for coaching and team development.
3. Familiarity with tools in a modern sales/marketing stack (e.g., SalesLoft, ZoomInfo).
