This unique role combines SDLC best practices and technical skills to enable key business growth & success through the implementation, management & enhancement of solutions. The Commercial IT Business Partner is accountable for supporting our Salesforce environment, acting as a strategic partner to the sales, quoting & Incentive management teams. They will be expected to understand, prioritize & execute solutions in Salesforce and integrated systems. It will also involve hands-on configuration work in the Salesforce solutions suite. The position requires strong project planning, technical understanding, and effective communication to translate business needs into measurable results. 

 

This in-person position reports to the VP, Corporate Tech & Strategy, and operates from our corporate headquarters in Medina, OH. 10-15% annual travel is anticipated to support Koroseal's multi-site operations. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  1. System administration & support  Manage user profiles and groups in Salesforce, including but not limited to: managing user permissions and creating user profiles as needed. 
  2. Ensure the proper functioning and availability of current Salesforce applications (Sales Cloud, Revenue Cloud, Service Cloud & Spiff) as configured by the organization, including but not limited to: system monitoring, health integration and verifying resource Integrity.
  3. Troubleshoot issues by diagnosing problems and finding the root cause, responding to escalated helpdesk requests and escalating to vendors as needed. 
  4. Provide consistent training to IT level 1 & 2 support for end-user support in the company's Salesforce environment.
  5. Maintain software licenses and conduct audits.
  6. System development lifecycle management & governance Establish & maintain strong relationships with Sales, quoting & commissions business leaders & user groups.
  7. Evaluate existing business processes in Salesforce and integrated to identify areas for improvement and define the scope of new solutions.
  8. Analyze and plan for Salesforce enhancements and/or processes, including project planning, progress monitoring, backlog management and user training content.
  9. Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to collect detailed application requirements, creating documentation such as user stories, business requirements and process diagrams. 
  10. Serve as the primary communication channel between business users and technical resource partners.
  11. Collaborate with technical teams to design and implement solutions that drive business goals and meet user requirements.
  12. Monitor implemented solutions, gathering feedback, and identifying opportunities for future enhancements. 
  13. Vendor Alignment  Interact with vendors to resolve problems.
  14. Negotiate project commitments, balancing benefits, scope, and costs. 
  15. Manage vendor performance, contracts, and SLAs to ensure value and reliability.
  16. All other duties as assigned.


Skills & Qualifications: 

  1. Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, or related field. 
  2. 7+ years of IT experience with 3+ in business analysis and/or project delivery.
  3. Strong background in waterfall and agile practices and cross-functional project management.
  4. Experience with application administration and vendor oversight.
  5. Analytical skills to conduct root cause, cost-benefit, and performance analyses.
  6. Strong communicator with ability to engage both technical and business stakeholders.
  7. Customer first mindset and ability to communicate with all levels of the organization  
  8. Ability to lift up to 50lbs and provide hands-on support as needed
