Swimlane is looking for a highly experienced and motivated candidate to build a SFDC technical management program to support Sales, Marketing, Customer Experience and the company executives. This team member will work closely with the Sales Operations Manager, the Senior Vice President of Sales and the Chief Operating Officer in building deep integrations and workflows supporting the company go-to-market strategy.


The Salesforce Administrator will lead the ongoing development of our salesforce.com deployment. The successful candidate will have a record of success in improving processes and adoption using the Force.com platform. The administrator will work closely with functional
leaders, organizational units, and subject matter experts to identify develop and deploy new business processes including: Sales, Marketing, Customer Success and our core program business processes. This role is part technical project manager, part administrator and part Salesforce analyst. The Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for the executing on the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance and improvement of our CRM platform and will report directly to the COO.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Serve as primary system administrator for the Swimlane Salesforce.com environment
  • Handle all basic administrative functions including user account maintenance, reports
  • and dashboards, workflows and other routine tasks
  • Complete regular internal system audits and prepare for upgrades
  • Manage Salesforce.com data feeds and other integrations
  • Coordinate the evaluation, scope and completion of new development requests.
  • Assist in training of new users, and grow the Salesforce.com skill set across the
  • organization
  • Effectively act as the liaison between our users, vendors and the application
  • development teams
  • Work independently with members of the user community to define and document
  • development requirements

Experience Required:

  • Saleforce.com Admin (ADM201 and ADM211) certifications
  • Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Developer certifications preferred
  • Proven ability to design and implement new processes and facilitate user adoption.
  • Strong understanding of the platform, with the ability to build custom apps and objects,
  • formula fields, workflows, custom views, and other content of intermediate complexity
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce.com best practices and functionality
  • Strong experience with SFDC plug-ins that support inside sales and marketing
  • Strong data management abilities
  • A documented history of successfully driving projects to completion
  • A demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex requirements

Your Opportunity 

The Salesforce Business Analyst will be part of a team that owns, develops, and executes the day-to-day configuration, reporting, training, support, maintenance and overall improvement of ClickSoftware’s instance of Salesforce.com and related applications. In this role, you will work closely with multiple internal customers, including sales, marketing, professional services and support. You will participate in phases of Salesforce implementations including design, configuration, and execution of new workflows and processes, in addition to improving existing workflows and processes.

We’re looking for experience as a team member with a strong technology skills and a can-do, positive attitude. In this role, you'll be working for a global company with team members and stakeholders dispersed across multiple countries. While the focus of this role's responsibilities will be on Salesforce.com (used by the entire company), the ideal candidate will be excited at opportunities to learn other cloud applications as well.

Main Responsibilities

  • Configure and administer the Salesforce.com environment while working collaboratively with different stakeholding business units
  • Perform administrator functions involving user management, profiles, roles, permissions, assignment rules, queues, licenses, configure & implement dashboards, reports, templates, page layouts, workflows, validation rules, automation processes, approvals, etc.
  • Meet regularly with stakeholding business units to understand business vision and priorities
  • Work directly with stakeholders on smaller requests and as part of a collaborative Business Applications team for larger projects
  • Provide day-to-day user support (including system configuration and system maintenance) following best practices with regards to release management, system maintenance, configuration, testing, and data integrity
  • Work with mass update data tools such as Data Loader
  • Stay up-to-date with Salesforce releases and corresponding documentation

You will need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems/Computer Science preferred
  • Comprehensive experience with all Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills
  • Understanding of databases and ERD
  • Strong interpersonal skills and proven experience in working as a team member
  • Salesforce.com certification preferred
  • Experience with SQL/Access preferred

Salesforce Administrator - Business Applications

About the Role

This role will work within the administrator portion of the Tech Services - Business Applications team at Uber. The BizApps team works with business partners throughout all of Uber (including Uber Eats, Uber Freight and various support and safety teams) to support and develop business processes on the Salesforce.com platform. We strive to empower Uber's staff to be more productive and successful through our solutions, service delivery, and innovation.

What You'll Do

  • Work through an operational ticketing queue to resolve user requests/issues including: managing security, users, roles, profiles, groups, queues and other Salesforce.com setup options as necessary.
  • Prepare data files and upload the data into Salesforce.com using data loader.
  • Configure 3rd party tools such as DocuSign, Groove and NewVoiceMedia.
  • Create reports in Salesforce.com to meet operational requirements including maintaining a standard set of queries/reports to satisfy requirements; validate queries/reports created by others in the organization and assist in the interpretation of data.
  • Test and QA of enhancements/changes to SFDC deployment using SF.com sandbox.
  • Train/support end users with the use of the SFDC application.

What You'll Need:

  • BA/BS degree in a computer science discipline, or equivalent applicable experience.
  • Salesforce.com Administrator Certification required (ADM 201).
  • SFDC administrator with at least 3 years related experience.
  • Knowledge of SFDC configuration including use of data loader and third party tools.
  • Extensive experience with data migration in to SFDC for objects including but not limited to accounts, contacts, cases, leads and opportunities and custom objects
  • Experience on SFDC business workflow (different entities like opportunity, leads, account, assets etc.).
  • Understanding of partner portal functionality for SFDC.

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast paced environment.
  • Excellent written & verbal communications skills.
  • Excellent analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving skills
  • Go getter and motivated to make an impact
  • Other SFDC certifications (Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder, Cloud certifications) are a plus.
