Position Overview:

The Senior Salesforce Developer will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining solutions to meet the needs of users of our Salesforce instance and integrated core applications. Working within the Enterprise Platforms team, you’ll collaborate to analyze user needs, and implement scalable solutions, providing architectural guidance and ensuring adherence to development best practices.

Primary Job Duties

1. Lead Salesforce Development: Design, develop, and deploy scalable Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and other platform tools.
2. Technical Leadership: Serve as the technical lead for the Salesforce platform, guiding architecture, enforcing coding standards, and mentoring junior and offshore developers.
3. Solution Architecture: Collaborate with Admins, Product Owners, and stakeholders to design robust, scalable solutions that align with business goals.
4. System Integration: Integrate Salesforce with external systems and third-party applications using APIs, managed packages, and middleware or other technical solutions.
5. Configuration & Customization: Configure Salesforce objects, fields, workflows, and automations to meet evolving business needs.
6. Data Management: Ensure data integrity, manage migrations, and support data transformation efforts within Salesforce.
7. DevOps & CI/CD: Manage version control support CI/CD processes.
8. Agile Collaboration: Actively participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
9. Quality Assurance & Documentation: Conduct code reviews, champion best practices for performance and security, and contribute to technical documentation.

Minimum Qualifications:

Experience and Certifications:

1. Minimum 5 years of experience as a Salesforce Developer.
2. Demonstrated familiarity working in an Agile/Scrum environment, with a strong understanding of its principles and values.
3. Proven experience leading Salesforce development teams or projects.
4. Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data modeling, and integration patterns.
5. Salesforce Platform Developer II and Javascript Developer I certifications preferred, Application Architect a plus.
6. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.

Skills and Abilities:

1. Highly adept with Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, Javascript, and SOQL.
2. Proficiency with Jira or similar project management tools, with the ability to create, manage, and track user stories, issues, and tasks.
3. Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
4. Collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills.
