The Boeing Company’s Information Digital Technology & Security (IDT&S) organization is currently seeking a Salesforce Developer (Associate or Mid-Level) to join the Customer Relation Management (CRM) Digital Solutions team in Renton, WA or Seattle, WA.

This role provides an exciting opportunity to develop technical expertise within the Salesforce ecosystem while contributing to CRM capabilities supporting Boeing’s global Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success organizations.


Under the guidance of senior developers, architects, and technical leads, you will participate in designing, building, testing, and deploying Salesforce functionalities that enhance customer information systems and integrate with enterprise applications. This role is ideal for individuals eager to learn, develop strong technical and problem-solving skills, and grow within a world-class engineering and technology organization.


Position Responsibilities:

  1. Participate in the design, development, and unit testing of Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud
  2. Develop Salesforce components using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and declarative tools under senior supervision
  3. Assist with enhancements, bug fixes, system configurations, and deployment activities across Salesforce environments
  4. Support integrations between Salesforce and enterprise systems using application programming interfaces (APIs), middleware, and event-based patterns
  5. Contribute to code reviews, documentation, and adherence to Boeing’s secure coding and development standards
  6. Assist in the analysis of business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to define technical solutions
  7. Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
  8. Support testing efforts including unit testing, regression testing, and validation of deployment changes
  9. Learn and apply best practices for Salesforce development, Development, Security, Operations (DevSecOps), Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, version control, and metadata management
  10. Stay informed about Salesforce release updates, platform enhancements, and evolving best practices


Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  1. 1+ years of experience in software development
  2. 1+ years of experience working with Salesforce
  3. 1+ years of experience with Cloud hosted platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure
  4. 1+ years of experience in programming languages such as JavaScript, C#, Python, SQL, etc.
  5. 1+ years of experience working in digital solutions, data analytics, and/or simulation and modeling domains
  6. 1+ years of experience working within an Agile development team


Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  1. 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  2. Bachelor's degree or equivalent work or military experience
  3. Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I, Administrator, or Platform App Builder
  4. Experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, or integrations
  5. Experience with CI/CD tools (Copado, Git, Salesforce DX), DevOps practices, and automated testing frameworks
  6. Experience with API concepts, JSON, REST/SOAP, and integration patterns
  7. Experience in large enterprise environments or regulated industries

Summary pay range for Associate: $92,650 – $125,350

Summary pay range for Mid-Level: $115,600 – $156,400
