Our rapidly growing team serves Fortune 500 companies like Adobe, Cisco, IBM, Oracle, VMware, and others to prepare and execute in-person, virtual, and hybrid events across the world. Those events are delivered through our industry-disrupting software platform, with groundbreaking business intelligence, to elevate the attendee experience, streamline event operations, and accelerate marketing results. We are well-funded, growing fast, and building a company that is changing the market — it will be challenging, fun and exciting.

About the Role

This role works closely with our business systems stakeholders and senior team members to define feature requirements, maintain the platform, and customize Salesforce to enable users to get the most out of our technology. You will provide hands-on administration, declarative configuration, and daily user support for Salesforce and other integrated SaaS business platforms. Our team is small but growing, providing an excellent opportunity to learn, grow your Salesforce career, and make a tangible impact.

Essential Responsibilities

  1. Customize and maintain the RainFocus Salesforce platform through declarative configuration (Flows, validation rules, page layouts, and custom fields).
  2. Provide day-to-day end-user support, troubleshooting, and user management (roles, profiles, and permission sets).
  3. Manage tasks and help tickets in a fast-paced environment, driving issues to resolution with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
  4. Work closely with stakeholders and business analysts to document, implement, and optimize system requirements.
  5. Assist with environment maintenance, data hygiene, and basic release management (handling sandboxes and change sets).
  6. Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, processes, and user guides.
  7. Work iteratively within a small, collaborative Agile team.

Required Skills and Experience

  1. 1–3 years of hands-on experience implementing and maintaining Salesforce.com platforms (Sales Cloud and Service Cloud).
  2. Strong experience with declarative development, specifically Lightning Experience, Lightning App Builder, and Salesforce Flows.
  3. Solid understanding of the Salesforce Security Model (profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, and OWDs).
  4. Experience with basic data management tools (Data Loader, Import Wizard) and maintaining data integrity.
  5. Ability to build custom reports, dashboards, and list views to provide business insights.
  6. Excellent problem-solving skills and a knack for troubleshooting user issues.
  7. Salesforce Certified Administrator credential.

Desired Skills

  1. Exposure to CPQ or Quote-to-Cash processes in a SaaS/recurring revenue company.
  2. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  3. Experience or interest in learning advanced automation (Advanced Flows, basic troubleshooting of Apex errors).
  4. Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder or Certified Advanced Administrator.
  5. Experience with integrated tools or middleware (e.g., Jira, Slack, HubSpot).

Personal Characteristics

The best candidates for this position must have strong chemistry and a culture fit within RainFocus. They must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, challenging, and dynamic environment. Additional personal qualities include:

  1. Self-motivated / Self-starter eager to learn and grow
  2. Innovative thinker and proactive problem-solver
  3. Great attention to detail and data accuracy
  4. Strong communicator who can translate technical concepts for non-technical users
  5. Well-organized and able to prioritize tasks
  6. Enthusiastic, high-energy, and a collaborative team player

Success Measures

  1. Ensure high user adoption and satisfaction across RainFocus’ business functions.
  2. Maintain a clean, organized, and well-documented Salesforce environment.
  3. Provide timely resolution to user support requests and system bugs.
  4. Act as a helpful, trusted resource for daily Salesforce questions.
  5. On-time delivery of assigned configuration tasks.

This is a remote position. Minimal travel to conferences or team on-site events.
